Thank you for visiting.

The museum has bascially been devoid of new additions since the Winter Solstice of 2006 because of consuming attentions that I have needed to pay to my other website, "You Bet Your Life". I anticipate reopening with newly created visual work, and new musical and literary additions shortly after the Vernal Equinox of this year. bialy

Theme music courtesy Dispersions of the Spirit of Ra :: Alternate theme music courtesy Harry Smith

There are 4 kinds of things to be found in the White Cyber-City :: visual, musical, poetic and discursive.

i parse the visual obras displayed in the main gallery as:

::Asiderial::

configurations, constructions, contemplations, conformations, considerations, conjunctions or conjurations

depending on the day of the week on Jupiter.

They were all created using Photoshop 7.0, and the procedures used to transform the original digital record of some objective event were derived by application of the fundamental principles of the Alphabetic Calculus for Cosmic Idiots, so delightfully elaborated by my dear friend Eccles in a surprising forum.

Free and unrestricted noncommercial use of these pieces is permitted, and even encouraged. They are suitable for excellent quality reproduction up to 10 x 12 inches. Any and all commercial uses are prohibited without prior written permission. Copyrights to all images and texts remain with the contributing artists

CD's containing bitmap files for large printing are available for $12.00 (including postage) and may be requested via email to: hbialy@ibt.unam.mx.

Musical (except for the dual themes above) and other items are located in the Comments links at the right of each entry. Clicking on any image enlarges it. Placing the cursor over the enlarged image sometimes allows a further magnification.

All questions, of course, will be cheerfully answered.

If you find these pieces interesting, you might wish to visit the following sites devoted to some of the minds from which they derive.

Among many other things(among the 10,000 things that constituted the known universe for the Taoists)"Einstein's Yo-Yo no. 2" is the palindromic portal to that swingin' singularity in time-space where matter and antimatter go simultaneously backwards and forwards and into and out of each other, lovers eternally spelling themselves from aleph to tet and back again, and even the relatively (ha!) recent word "yo-yo" reemerging as "oy-oy," which is the cry of Bialyzebub as he contemplates the heartbreak at the core of the cosmos, and which he instantaneously transmutes to joy ("oy" plus a "J," of Oaxacan provenance) by creating something as transcendentally beautiful as "Einstein's Yo-Yo."

Hi Dr. Bialy!

This is some far out stuff, ya got here! I ain't good with all this cosmic jazz, cause I'm more comfortable with numbers, facts, logic, and debate, but, Hell, maybe I can lighten up a bit!

Hola Hank

What a pleasant surprise (sort of) to find you here. I have been hoping to be able to continue conversing with you, and as you know i banished myself(s) from the Dean's World forums at the final curtain of the magnificent and unique and first of a kind 12 days of cyberdrama that demolished the world's dumbest medical hypothesis and its defenders. Even though the peanut gallery is still making babbling noises, the worst offender-defender, the not dreaded not-doc but definitely dick bennett, i see has gone (and so have his dumbass smileys and twit 'cheers').

{A click of the blue, surprsing forum in the intro graph to bialys will let anyone who is here, but was not there, know what there was [and is] all about.}

We move on. Hank...the pieces here are all about logic and number. But i bet one cosmic clown or another would love to debate you about any aspect of them whatsoever. As you can plainly see from looking at them...all sides are possible.

And You Think You Got Problems?

Dig this. The other day i wrote my dear friend Dr. Stein if he perchance had any ideas why our mutual friends, George and Susan Quasha, whose presence figures in more than a few of the pieces here, (as does Stein's) had been uncharacteristically silent the past weeks. This was his answer.

There is a local Entity we call the KayMorang. It is larger than Barrytown altogether. Each evening it appears like a swirling rumbling grinding cloud in the west; we all are sure it intends to absorb Barrytown if it is not provided with sufficiently amusing responses to its incomprehensible conundrums and a show of collective mental fortitude by the assembled people of this obscure Hudson valley hamlet. At sundown George takes a stance on his porch waiting for the thing to gather. Amiable Susan at his side. On first citing, he quietly recites Preverbs. From there he goes on to verses from the original text of Somapoetics. If that doesn't stay the menace we have random plates from Blakean prophecies. And at the end of the episode, as leaves are swirling in the rank exhalations from the inchoate orifices of the KayMorang and tiles are gyrating from the rooftops, the fellow attempts to balance Buz Gummere's 1942 Packard on the fender of my 1999 Honda Civic, in spite of the atmospheric disturbance and the unbalanced noetic quality of the collective. Not an evening but that this at least has done the trick. The thing crumples at the sight of it to the size of a black walnut and scoots on back to Woodstock. Then Quasha retires exhausted to his invisible wood paneled subterranean contemplation zone to recharge his psychic alkalines until another evening. God knows how he does it.

Well, I'm still havin' fun at Dean's, but I did see a few Skeptic blogs on your roll, so maybe the "movable feast" will find a new home!

since not-doc-but-dick bennett has blocked me from his email i have been unable to let him know that i am broadcasting new vile insults to his high-falutin sounding academic credentials and his very little poisonous mynd (and lots and lots of sites are hitting on it too!)

since he is still speaking to you, maybe you could let him know?

thanks.

Dr B.,

So glad you have your own site. Been following the debate on HIV at Dean's site, but haven't participated. Have read your book and thoroughly enjoyed it. I am not a scientist, but have been captivated by the controversy and find myself persuaded by the counter-arguments to the establishment's party line.

I do have questions...

In your book, p. 144, you relate "Team Virus's" "best shot" in their debate with Duesberg, but leave me hanging as a non-scientist as to how Duesberg would have replied to their best shot, if he had been allowed to do so. Perhaps he has done so elsewhere. Would you mind answering their best shot, either as Duesberg would or you would, or both? Is this still their best shot or has their position strengthened since then? If so, what are their strongest positions in your mind and what do you make of them?

Also, what do you make of the contention by the establishment that Koch's postulates have been satisfied?

Finally, what do you make of the recent flap in the media regarding this so-called lethal strain of HIV that destroys the immune system in 4 months and is drug resistant?

I have other questions as well, but they can wait. Please be patient with me on this. i really want to learn and understand the science and truth of the matter to the degree I can as a lay-person.

Thanks so much!

and i am so glad that you have tracked me down tbird tom.

i respond to your question set in two ways:

1. a serious, albeit cheerfully given, answer: they are addressed in the hot-wired, fascinating and surprising forum of the first post that is rewired here. it is not only mind-blowing and blazingly informative, it is also falling over funny.

2. a semi-serious bialyzebub question of my own in a musical form that can be heard here. if you know the answer maybe you could give him fauci's address....anything is better than what he peddles.

tbird:
thanks so much for taking the time to reply. I have reviewed the summary of the lively exchange in dean's site that you sent me. it's long, informative in parts and, frankly, very tedious, confusing and frustrating, particularly to a non-scientist like myself. at this point of my inquiry I want to focus on your's and duesberg's perspectives to my questions, not "caltechgirl's" or dick bennett's et al. they seem to be very closed to alternate ways of looking at this controversy and unable to see that the very confusion they are part of and perpetuate through their techno-speak disconfirms their convictions. as a psychoanalyst, i found myself more curious about the psycho-dynamics of the group than the substance of their remarks. as a lay-person, i felt at times, particularly with respect to the criticisms of the graphs, that the group was deep in the thick of thin things, but i'm not sure...just an impression.

I'm still curious about how you or duesberg would counter-punch team virus' best shot and fancy footwork presented on p.144 of your book. if the answer is in your book, in the 185 page summary you linked me to or in one of duesberg's writings and i missed it, please forgive and point me to it. the same holds for my other questions regarding Koch's postulates and the alleged mutability of the HIV virus, including its recent alleged identity by the establishment with new, more deadly strains of SIV. seems suspicious to me that the collective team virus would continue to blame their failures on this pesky little virus that keeps changing so fast that noone can ever get a bead on it. but then again, i'm always on the look-out for my own and others' character defenses. even so, what's up with this recent flap about new, more virulent and deadly forms of SIV=HIV that have scientists stumped? what will it take, i wonder, for this paradigm to shift?

bialy:
but tbird what about my musical question?

you seem to have the whole tamale pretty well in hand when you write

they seem to be very closed to alternate ways of looking at this controversy and unable to see that the very confusion they are part of and perpetuate through their techno-speak disconfirms their convictions.

and

seems suspicious to me that the collective team virus would continue to blame their failures on this pesky little virus that keeps changing so fast that noone can ever get a bead on it.

trust your psychoanalytical intuitions in these matters.

there is more than enough material posted in dean's world to give you duesberg's complete perspective, and you have read my book, so you have mine.

but tbird, all you need to look at is the basic falsification that started the entire discussion.

everything you think is so about it is. the proof is that until today, when it has been right in the face of fauci and his stooges for four months, not a single non-laughable argument has been presented by anybody that would call into any question at all the conclusions i present there, or the data on which they are based.

it is really a qed after 20+ years of an "epidemic". that is why i put it there with dean's contrivance.

all the rest, and i mean all, are red herrings the size of whales, but red herrings all the same...including the new and even more deadly varieties of the deadly virus that are cropping up like pandemic flu strains.

the very brief part in the book about "best-shot" is all very tongue-in-cheek. the "best-shot" of temin, gallo and blattner that i quote is so week on its face it could have been authored by caltechgal, nick dennett and dddd....daffy.

finally tbird. i created this site to engage my passions for other things besides hiv/aids education. and while i totally, like my children said a few years ago, appreciate your serious interest in these matters, my final cheerful suggestion is that you ask peter any further questions you might have about hiv/aids directly thru www.duesberg.com. he is as determined an educator as he is a scientist of the kind they don't hardly make anymore.

however, should you have questions (and as a psychoanalyst i can't imagine that you do not) about the stuff i present here, by all means ask me anything

Landlord Sues Restaurateurs Over Ghosts

Thu Sep 8, 9:06 AM ET

The owners of a Japanese restaurant who claim their newly renovated building is haunted are being sued by their landlord for refusing to move in.

An offer to hold an exorcism was refused, according to the 2.6 million dollar lawsuit filed by the owners of the Church Street Station entertainment complex last month in Orange County Circuit Court.

The lawsuit also asks a judge to decide whether the building is haunted and, if so, whether the ghosts would interfere with the restaurant's business.

Christopher and Yoko Chung had planned to move their Amura Japanese Restaurant into the building in October 2004, but backed out of the lease.

The Chungs' attorney says subcontractors gave several documented reports of having seen ghosts or apparitions in the restaurant at night. The attorney also says Christopher Chung's religious beliefs require him to "avoid encountering or having any association with spirits or demons."

I heard LSD-25 causes chromosome damage, ( I heard that way back in the 70's). Does this mean LSD-25 can cause Cancer? I was musing this while reading your book (first time). If thats true then I wonder what role does the mind play in causing disease.

I never thought of Geneneticist has doing undo the human body has computer programmers do with computers..DNA and Amino acids and protein synthesis being like binary code. I guess you guys already figured that out.
